DJ Maphorisa Arrested for Allegedly Assaulting Girlfriend Thuli Phongolo

DJ Maphorisa, a popular Amapiano producer and club DJ, has been arrested for allegedly assaulting his girlfriend Thuli Phongolo at her apartment in Sandton, Johannesburg.

Phongolo reported the incident to the police, claiming that Maphorisa became aggressive and started physically attacking her when she confronted him about an argument they had the previous night. She stated that he slapped her in the face, punched her on the chest, and grabbed her aggressively by the neck. She sustained bruises on her neck, chest, arms, and right cheek. This is not the first time the couple has had heated arguments. Maphorisa is expected to appear in court on Monday to face charges of assault
